♔ Elise sprinted through the long castle hall, a grin on her face as the figure of her elder brother slowly grew larger and larger. She stretched out her arms and collided with him, her arms squeezing his body in a warm embrace.
♔ The smell of flour filled the air of the castle’s kitchen. In an attempt to make cake batter, Elise had spilled flour all over the marble counter, and stood frozen above the mess she had made. She tiptoed over to the door and peeked outside. Luckily, no one was around to hear the screech she had made when the incident occurred.
Elise turned her head to look at the mess again. Was it small enough for her to clean up herself, or would she need to call a maid or butler? It was definitely a big mess, but Elise felt too embarrassed, and was scared she would get in trouble. Elise’s heart skipped a beat as she suddenly heard footsteps in the hallway. She peeked out the door once more, and saw a flash of long, violet hair. Elise relaxed, finding a solution to her problem.
♔ Elise let out a loud and frustrated sigh. Her entire day had been spent in her room, with various maids coming in and out bringing her soup, tea, and a ton of tissues. Her siblings had spent the day training and sparring, and she desperately desired to be with them. However, her stubborn cold had her bedridden.
She sat up to take a peek outside her door, which was slightly ajar. Several people passed by her room— some laughing, others chatting. Elise frowned, she felt lonely, and very bored. Suddenly, a familiar face passed by her door.
The sun began its descent to the horizon, painting the sky in tropical hues and sun kissed blends. It seemed that the castle was coming to a rest, but the eldest sister did not feel tired one bit. She ordered the maid to bring out the porcelain set;
‵The one with the cute, floral design.′ she said.
Her bored head rested upon her soft palms, eyes intently staring at the hot liquid being poured into the fragile teacup. The silence was, however, broken by the sound of a familiar giggle; innocent and lively in its sound, she knew it was must have been Nohr’s cutest Rod Knight.
⎡Elise, my dearest! Would you care for a cup of tea?⎦
Camilla’s elegant hand gestured towards the empty seat before her, waiting patiently for any passerby.
♔ Elise’s eyes lit up as her elder sister invited her to sit. Time spent with her siblings was sacred to the young girl, especially when it was with her sister. She felt more connected to her, even though she loved all her siblings equally.
She cheerfully skipped over to Camilla, her long pigtails flapping behind her almost like large, drooping rabbit ears. Elise sat down with a grin on her face, as her eyes moved down to the lovely porcelain tea set.
❝ Wow, this is so pretty Camilla! Almost as pretty as you! ❞
♔ Elise giggled to herself, proud of her clever remark. She grabbed the teapot and took a look inside, a cloud of steam covering her face and causing her to quickly snap her head back.
